The All India Pre–Medical/Pre–Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT/AIPDT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India. It is conducted for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses in various medical and dental colleges across the country. The exam is conducted once a year and is usually held in the month of May. The exam consists of multiple choice objective type questions on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. AIPMT/AIPDT is a national level entrance examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses in the country. It is one of the most competitive examinations in India. The AIPMT/AIPDT entrance test is a 3–hour long exam consisting of three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The exam consists of 180 objective type multiple–choice questions. Each section carries 60 marks and the total marks for the exam are 180. The exam is conducted twice a year, in the months of May and November. The syllabus for the exam is based on the syllabus prescribed by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Dental Council of India (DCI). The exam is conducted in two stages – the Preliminary exam and the Main exam. The Preliminary exam is conducted as an online exam and the Main exam is conducted as a paper–based test. The candidates who qualify the Preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the Main exam. The candidates need to have a minimum of 50% marks in the Main exam to be eligible for admission. The exam fee for the AIPMT/AIPDT entrance test is Rs.1,200/-. The application process for the exam is done online through the official website of CBSE. The applicants must fill in the online application form and submit it along with the necessary documents before the last date. The results of the AIPMT/AIPDT entrance test are declared after the completion of the Main exam. The candidates who qualify the exam are provided admission in the MBBS and BDS courses in various medical and dental colleges in the country.

The AIPMT/AIPDT Entrance Test is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various medical and dental courses in India. To be eligible for the exam, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Age: The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years as on the day of the examination.
• Educational Qualification: The applicants must have passed the higher secondary (10+2) examination or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English, from any recognized Board/University, with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together.
• Nationality: The candidates must be Indian nationals.
• Number of Attempts: There is no restriction on the number of attempts for the AIPMT/AIPDT Entrance Test.
• Domicile: For admission to medical/dental colleges in India, the candidate must be a domicile of respective state/UT.

The All India Pre–Medical/Pre–Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT/AIPDT) is an entrance exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses in India. The AIPMT/AIPDT syllabus consists of topics from the following subjects:
• Physics: Mechanics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics, Atomic and Nuclear Physics.
• Chemistry: Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.
