All India Pre–Veterinary Test (AIPVT) is a national–level entrance examination conducted by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). It is held for admission to undergraduate programs in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) in the Veterinary Colleges of India. The exam is conducted annually in the month of May/June. The examination consists of multiple–choice questions from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The duration of the examination is 3 hours and the total marks are 180. The examination is conducted in both online and offline modes.
All India Pre–Veterinary Test (AIPVT) Entrance Test
The All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) is an entrance examination conducted by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) for admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) course in the Veterinary Colleges of India. The AIPVT is conducted once a year in May/June. The exam is conducted for admission to 15% All India Quota seats in Veterinary Colleges in India. The remaining 85% seats are filled by the concerned state.
All India Pre–Veterinary Test (AIPVT) Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of AIPVT is as follows:
1. The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
2. The age of the applicant must be 17 years or more on the 31st of December of the year in which the examination is being held.
3. The applicant must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio–technology and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
4. The applicant must have a valid domicile certificate of any state in India.
5. The applicant must be medically fit and should have undergone a medical examination.
