The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is an admissions test used by Xavier University and other top business schools in India to assess applicants for admission to their MBA and other business programs. In order to be eligible for the XAT, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
1. The applicant must be a citizen of India.
2. The applicant must have completed a Bachelor‘s Degree with a minimum of three years duration.
3. Applicants who are in the final year of their Bachelor‘s degree are also eligible to apply.
4. Applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in their Bachelor‘s degree.
5. Applicants appearing for the XAT exam must have a valid passport.

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) Syllabus
The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a national–level entrance examination conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) for admissions to its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). The XAT syllabus covers topics from Verbal and Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, Decision Making, General Knowledge and Essay Writing.
Verbal & Logical Ability: This section tests the candidate‘s ability to read and comprehend passages in English, as well as their command over the language. Questions will be based on the vocabulary, grammar and structure of English.
Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation: This section tests the candidate‘s mathematical ability and their ability to interpret data. Questions will be based on Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Data Interpretation, Probability and Statistics.
Decision Making: This section tests the candidate‘s ability to make decisions and solve problems. Questions in this section will be based on various scenarios and require the candidate to use their analytical and logical skills to arrive at a decision.
